1)   To fulfill our vision and mission, expansion of the department is our dream.   A “state-of-Art”    PICU with sophisticated equipment with a step down unit is our priority.

 

2)   A full-fledged simulator laboratory to enhance skills of interns and postgraduates would be a mandatory addition in the near future.

 

3)  We envisage establishing virtual classrooms & web based teaching both  for undergraduates and postgraduates .

 

4)  Improving international collaboration for research and innovations.

 

 

A.    Division of Pediatric Haematology-Oncology

 

       1) To start the DM course in Paediatric Heamotology-Oncology .

       2)  Expand the Bone-Marrow Transplant services.

       3)  Strengthen the capacity including resources, manpower and infrastructure for furthering quality of care in all aspects of Hematology-Oncology.

 

B.    Pediatric Centre Of Excellence for HIV (PCOE)

 

Upgradation of Telemedicine services.

 

C.    Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology ,Hepatology and Nutrition

 

a)    To upgrade The Pediatric Endoscopy Area.

b)    Start pediatric manometry.

 

 

D.    Division of Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy

 

  1) To start the DM course in Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy

  2)  To establish a Epilepsy monitoring unit

  3) To start a epilepsy surgery programme in collaboration with neurosurgery department, for management of children with refractory epilepsy.

  4)  Strengthen the infrastructure for improving quality of care in all aspects of  Neurologyand epilepsy .

 

 

E.    Pediatric Nephrology

 

1)    To establish division of  Pediatric Nephrology

2)    To start dialysis centre dedicated for Pediatric patients.

3)    To strengthen the resources, manpower &infrastructure  for kidney transplant.

 

F.    Pediatric Diabetic Clinic

This clinic will provide holistic care to diabetic children including insulin injections , diet , counseling , prevention of long term complications .
