Dermatosurgery and Cosmetology Division
- Chemical cauterization – Done daily on OPD basis for warts, Molluscum contagiosum, seborrhoeic keratosis skin tags etc.
- Electrical cauterization – twice a week on appointment basis
- Radiocautery : twice a week on appointment basis
- Cryotherapy – Done on Friday for keloid, hypertrophic scars, mucocele, warts, Molluscum contagiosum
- Microdermabrasion : On appointment basis
- Chemical peels :on every friday
- Vitiligo Surgeries: on eery Friday ,on appointment basis. Includes Dermabrasion,88% phenol application ,Punch grafting, Split skin grafting, Suction blister Grafting, cellutome epidermal harvesting system.
- Botox: Anti aging, forehead lines, nasolabial folds
- Acne Surgeries: on every Friday or on appointment basis. The services include comedon extraction and chemical peels for acne lesions. Subscission, Dermaroller, and punch excision for acne scars.
- Intralesional injections e.g. Steroids, Bleomycin, tranexanic acid
- Nail Sugeries: Daily.

General Dermatology with specialized management techniques
- Dextrose-Cyclophosphamide Pulse (DCP) for autoimmune blistering diseases and connective tissue disorders
- Biologicals for Psoriasis and psoriatic arthropathy
- Autologus serum skin test and Autologus serum therapy for Chronic urticaria
- Treatment of sexually transmitted infection: As per NACO guidelines. Daily
- HIV/STI Counseling: Daily
- Leprosy clinic in collaboration with Ackworth and BLP: Monday, Wednesday, Friday.Services provided include, slit skin smear, MDT drug distribution center, Nerve biopsy, Management of deformities.
- PUVA therapy – Daily. For generalized vitiligo, Psoriasis, Atopic dermatitis etc
- UVB therapy – Daily. Chamber ( for generalized involvement)and Panel (for localized involvement)
Routine Diagnostic Procedures
- Scrapings for fungus/parasites – Done daily in OPD for fungal infections/scabies
- Dark ground microscopy –For syphilis
- Tissue/fluid smears: Done daily. Various staining techniques like Gram Stain for bacterial infection, Tzanck smear for Vesicobullous disorders and Viral infections
- Staining for AFB (Mycobacterium Leprae) – Sent to Microbiology Department
- Wood Lamp examination – Done daily for confirmation of diagnosis in Vitiligo, Tinea infections
- Skin Biopsy, including incisional and excision biopsy
- Scalp Biopsy for diagnosis of hair loss
- Nail biopsy

- Patch test and photopatch test- Universal series, Cosmetic series, Footwear series
- Trichoscan and trichogram : For diagnosis of Androgenetic alopecia / hair disorders
- Rapid plasma regain (RPR) test: One of the diagnostic test for Syphilis
