From end of 2009 year, new committee was formed as mentioned earlier. Details of courses are as follows:
1st workshop on “Teaching Methodologies conducted on 4th and 5th February, 2010. 33 participants from various departments attended it. Lecture topics as follows :

Group Activity for educational objectives, microteaching, teaching learning process etc was conducted with interest by faculty and candidates also showed interest in it. Pre & post tests were conducted in which better performance was given in post test. Participants were given workshop book and certificate for the same.
2nd workshop on “Evaluation Methodologies” on 5th and 7th May, 2010. 28 participants attended it. Lectures topics like evaluation objectives, how to prepare LAQ, SAQ & MCQ alongwith group activities was covered .OSPE & OSCE was also taken with a lot of role play. Viva, practical examination how to conduct was demonstrated.
For both the workshops experienced teachers were invited for delivering lectures and group activities. Participatns showed great interest in group activities. Feedback from participants for improvement in our MET programme was taken.called.
Integrated teaching programme was organized on the topic “ Hypertension” on 6 Sep 2010 for Second and Third year MBBS students. 200 Medical Students have attended it. Senior medical teachers and other associate have delivered the lecture. It was greatly appreciated , attended with maximum enthusiasm by the students. In the feedback form students have appreciated its help in practical knowledge of the topic and also given valid suggestions.
Special lectures on medical education topics were taken by MEU faculty and other expert faculty.
A workshop on Bio-statistics and Study Protocol was organised on 25th February 2011.Speakers were Mr.Kailas Gandewar and Dr.Sougat Sarkar.It was attended by 30 delegates.Topics included statistical analysis,Study protocol.Group discussions were included.
Workshop on “Medical Writing” was conducted on 5th October 2011 in the auditorium at our institution.This was in collaboration with IDMA and BMJ.
Dr.Trish Groves,Deputy Editor BMJ was the International faculty.Topics were fundamentals of Good Medical Writing,Writing for publication etc.
Integrated teaching programme on DM,Tuberculosis,HIV and AIDS,Liver,Thyroid and Oral manifestations of systemic Diseases were organised in 2011-12 for MBBS students..
2013 and 2014 activities:
Conducted 8 Workshops on Research Methodology. 40 participants per each workshop. MUHS approval was taken prior each workshop.They were appreciated by all residents and faculty who attended it. Renowned speakers were invited.Total 300 students been trained.
MCI Recognised MET-Basic Workshop was conducted from 29th to 31st January 2014.
27 participants attended it.Speakers were trained in MCI recognized MET Basic Workshop. It was very interactive and useful, It was appreciated by all.MCI observer’s report is very appreciative for organizers of this workshop.
2015 Activities:
MCI recognized MET Basic Course Workshop was conducted from 3rd to 5th March 2015. 24 participants attended it. Speakers were trained in MCI recognized MET Basic Workshop. It was very interactive and useful, appreciated by all. MCI observer’s report was very appreciative for organizers of this workshop.
RM workshops are conducted every month for PG students by various depts.
2015- 16 Research Methodology workshops :Conducted totally 28 MUHS approved , RM workshops till now organized by various departments under banner of MEU. Totally 1150 Postgraduate Students were trained.
2017 activities:
Till date 7 MEU members have been trained in ATCOM-Revised Basic Course in MET at nodal centre. Research methodology workshops are continuing.
MCI Recognized 1st Revised Basic Course Workshop in Medical Education Technology was organized from 9th to 11th August 2017. 29 Faculty participants were trained in it.
2018 activities:
MCI Recognized Revised Basic Course Workshop in Medical Education Technology & Sensitization Workshop on Attitude, Ethics, & Communication AETCOM :
1.MCI Recognised 2nd Revised Basic Course Workshop in Medical Education Technology was organized from 7th to 9th February 2018. 30 Faculty participants were trained in it.
- MCI recognized course in Medical Education technology – 3rd Revised Basic Course Workshop in Medical Education Technology & sensitization workshop on Attitude, Ethics, & Communication (AETCOM), was organized from 9th to 12th Oct. 2018 with accreditation from the Maharashtra Medical Council(MMC).
A total of 29 faculty member of LTMMC & GH participated in the training programme.

Feedback from the observer: The observer commented that there was excellent interaction between participants and faculty. He appreciated the numerous group activities which kept the participants engrossed.
Research Methodology workshops held:
- 11th to 13th June 2018 – 50 Residents/faculty were trained.
- 26th to 28th June 2018- 50 Residents were trained.
- 24th to 26th July 2018 – 50 Residents were trained.
- 7th to 9th August 2018 – 47 Residents & 3 Teachers were trained
- 25th to 27th Sept. 2018 – 49 Residents & 1 Teachers were trained.
2019 activities:
- Sensitization program on Curriculum implementation support program (CISP) to Dean, Head of Departments and other senior faculty members of LTMMC on 1st March 2019.
- Meeting of Dean and Head of departments of all specialties of MBBS course was held on 1st April 2019 to discuss formation of various committees and subcommittees and the timeline for organizing and implementation of activities of these committee with regards to Curriculum implementation support program (CISP).
- A workshop on ‘Curriculum implementation support program’ (CISP) was held from
25th to 27th April 2019 for faculty of LTMMC & GH at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical college & Hospital under the observer ship of GSMC –MCI Nodal centre after due permission from MCI.

Feedback from the participants:
The participants appreciated the active involvement of faculty & the excellent group activities. They said that it helped in better understanding of the concept of integration & UG teaching for IMG They commented that ‘Early clinical exposure’ was a good concept and appreciated the group activities.
Feedback from the observer: Efforts were made to make the sessions interactive and appropriate time was allotted to all sessions. The power point presentations, group activities, and interactions were well planned. Newer concepts were explained and doubts were clarified..
Research Methodology workshops held in 2019:
1) 17th to 19th September 2019 at LTMMC & GH- 54 participants were trained. Fifty were LTMMC residents from speciality and superspeciality courses. Three were from Sanjeevani hospital, Pune. One was from Dr. VPMC & RC, Nashik.
2) 19th to 21st November 2019 at LTMMC & GH -53 participants were trained. Fifty one were LTMMC residents from speciality and superspeciality courses. Two were faculty from Medicine.
2020 activities:
Curriculum Implementation Support Program-II (CISP-II ) was held from
21 & 22 Dec 2020 for faculty of LTMMC & GH at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical college & Hospital under the observer ship of GSMC –MCI Nodal centre after due permission from MCI.

Feedback from the participants: The important feedback from senior professors were: the workshop was well organized in covid time with all precautions and timelines were maintained, the resource faculty were appreciated for the efforts put into the content of the sessions, the activities were appreciated, the regulations of GME -19 were appreciated and participants expressed that they were looking forward to implement the changes in their department
