The outpatient department ( OPD ) of Cardiology at the LTMMC and LTMGH hospital is one of the busiest in the city of Mumbai. Annually around 50,000 patients are treated in the OPD department. There are two OPD rooms where the doctors cater to the patients.

The OPD runs from afternoon 1.30 P.M to 4:30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. There is also a separate OPD for Heart Failure patients on Wednesday afternoon.

There are always 5 DM Registrars and 2 staff nurses in the OPD at a time and all patients are carefully seen and treated. The OPD has the facility to take care of any emergency in case a patient becomes seriously ill.
