Candidate is expected to be
a) Posted as a resident as per rotation duties in the labour room / OPD / O.T. / Wards
b) Able to conduct normal deliveries
c) Management of episiotomy and PPH
d) Partographic monitoring of labour
e) Diagnosis of high risk pregnancy
f) High risk patient monitoring
g) Forceps / Vacuum under supervision
h) ANC OPD / gynaec OPD
i) Care of normal newborn
j) MVA procedure
k) Tubectomies
l) Management of eclampsia
TEACHING SKILLS
1) 100 hours of total theory lectures in 1 year.
2) Hand on training on the available clinical material
3) Management of all kinds of cases as per the availability
4) Record maintenance in log books

SCHEME OF EXAMS
1) As per direction no. 06/2006 MUHS during convocation.
2) Candidates will be evaluated twice at the end of 6 months each.
The first qualifying exam will be conducted by the faculty (internal) in the dept.
Performance of candidate will be treated as qualifying step for final exams.
3) Passing is minimum 50 % in theory
50 % in practical
4) Candidate failing in one component will have to reappear for that component only in
supplementary exams.
5) 90% attendance is compulsory requirement to appear for the exams. Log books would
be verified.
