Department of Medicine has conducted a CME on  “Monsoon Related Illness” on 2nd August 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at LTMMC and LTMGH. Dr. Siddharth Sonkamble, Asst.Professor Medicine  was Co-ordinator for this CME.

CME on “Elder Abuse Awareness Program”was organized on 18^th June, 2014 at LTMMC & LTMGH, Sion. Topic was introduced by Dr. Sangeeta Pednekar, Professor Medicine & I/C Geriatric Services. Dr. Nilesh Shah, HOD & Professor Psychiatry discussed his views on this topic. Dr. Sagar, Resident Psychiatry gave details of diagnosis & managing these patients.

Experts from Sneha foundation suggested counselling services, legal advice and support by them.

Program was attended by 50 participants from different disciplines & also residents got knowledge on awareness of elder abuse.
