Patients coming to the hospital after 1
pm are seen in the Casualty by the Casualty Pediatric Resident (CPR). They are
first assessed and stabilised by the CPR and then referred to the general ward
or intensive care depending on the condition of the patient.
The CPR is posted in the casualty from 1
pm to 8 am the next morning, and 24 hours on Sundays.
