Facilities & Infrastructure
- Operation Theatres: Thirty Eight OTs in various theatre complexes fully equipped with Anaesthesia Machines, Monitoring equipments and newer drugs for safer provision of different types of anaesthesias like general, regional, local and nerve blocks. Twenty four hours services are provided in eight of these OTS.
- Procedure Rooms: Anaesthesia Facilities are provided for Electroconvulsive Therapy, CT scan, Interventional radiology, Cardiac Catheterisation and GI endoscopies.
- Anaesthesia OPD: The department runs daily OPD for outdoor patients for preoperative assessments where they are also given information about anaesthesia and precautions to be taken by them.
- Museum: the department has an anaethesia museum describing history of Anaesthesia and display of equipments in a systematic manner.
- Department Library: Has over 250 textbooks and reference books, 210 dissertations and gets two journals for use by department personnel.
- Pain Clinic: Multidisciplinary pain management clinic for treating acute and chronic pain.

books, 238 dissertations. It gets two journals for use by department personnel.
