• The IX Basic Course on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery was organized by the Department of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery. LTMG Hospital and Medical College from 21st October to 24th October 2010.
• This course is being held annually by the ENT Department since 2001. It offers to impart to the otolaryngologists the necessary knowledge and techniques to conduct endoscopic sinus surgeries safely and confidently. It also lays the foundation to manage advanced Endoscopic Surgeries.
• The Course is structured in 3 Parts:
  First- Lectures, tutorials and panel discussions to cover the facts that are required to practice the craft.
  Second- Live Surgery- this includes live demonstration of surgeries for various sinus related pathologies.
  Third - A cadaveric dissection session for the delegates to practice the various surgical steps for themselves.
• This course was attended by 80 delegates from all over India and abroad. International delegates were from eight different countries from Europe. Africa And Asia. This Course was very well appreciated by all the delegates.
